Can you walk me through exactly how to convert my Audio CD to Wav in iTunes?

Sure! Before ripping your CD, check the Import Settings in iTunes by clicking the button on the top left and choosing Preferences

Then choose Import Settings

Make sure "Import Using" is set to WAV Encoder.

You can be sure the file is the correct type before uploading by making sure the file extension is .WAV.

Now, when you insert an Audio CD iTunes should prompt you and ask if you wish to import the disc. Click 'YES' and iTunes will convert the AUdio CD into individual WAV files.

Those WAV files will then be stored in the following location:

\Music\iTunes\iTunes Media\Music

then in a folder titled the same as the Artists name, then inside a folder titled the Album name.
