Every album on CDBaby.com includes short audio samples so your customers can preview your tracks before purchasing. The length of each sample on the CD Baby website is 29.5 seconds.
CD Baby will automatically begin each sample at the 48 second mark, unless you specify otherwise. You can request custom start times for your clips by e-mailing CD Baby directly at

Please note: when your custom start times for your sample clips to CD Baby, please be sure to send them the information in SECONDS. For example, if you want the sample to start at 2:04 (two minutes and four seconds), you would instruct CD Baby to begin the clip at the 124 second mark. If you want the sample to start at 1:00 (one minute and zero seconds), you would instruct CD Baby to begin the clip at the 60 second mark.
